President and co-founder of the Scholae Mundi charitable foundation. Acting member of the UWC International Board of Governance, Founding Partner, Chairman of the Board of Directors of UWC Dilijan College. Veronica, together with her husband Ruben Vardanyan, are not only famous philanthropists but also people who create socially significant projects in the field of education, community development, territorial development and the development of humanitarian initiatives. Veronica is the ideological inspirer of the JDI program, a person who sets the agenda in education through the search for new approaches to learning.

Since the inception of the summer educational program, Veronica has laid down the principles of integrating diversity, creating an unforgettable experience for participants based on immersion in the local context, value development of participants and a constant search for the best world practices in education.

Veronica believes in the potential of every child who needs help to open up. And the keys for each may be different.

HEAD OF UWC DILIJAN COLLEGE
In 2002 Gabriel joined the UWC movement. He was a Spanish and Theory of Knowledge teacher, Deputy Houseparent, Head of Theory of Knowledge and Boarding Community Senior Houseparent in UWC South East Asia. After 16 years at UWC South East Asia, Gabriel has moved to Armenia to join UWC Dilijan as its Head of College.

Gabriel is a graduate of the Malaga University and has completed a Graduate Certificate in Pedagogy at Madrid’s Complutense University (Spain), a Graduate Certificate in Business (Leadership & Management) at Curtin University (Australia), a Master’s in Education and ICT (UOC) and is currently completing an MBA Educational Leadership (International) at UCL’s Institute of Education (UK). Currently, he is the Chair of the UWC Heads Committee and a member of the UWC International Board.

Gabriel strongly believes in the UWC mission and seeks any opportunity to engage everyone with it. He sees the summer short programs as a great opportunity for young people to become a part of a global community, develop their mindfulness to themselves, others and the world.

FAMILY PROGRAMmes MANAGEr
Veronika has been actively involved in educational projects since 2013 by creating and implementing educational projects in the frameworks of the European Commission’s initiative. She implemented 13 trainings for young people aged 17-30.

She has a certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard University and recently completed a course from Yale University on the topic of “Leading and Managing Globally”. She has been certified as a project manager (PMP) by the Project Management Institute.

Veronika has been a part of JDI since 2016 when the project first began.
